ASTROLOGICAL GEMS – HOW TO WEAR THEM AND PLEASE THEIR RULING PLANET

We can remedy a bad result by the pacification of planets. There are 4 ways to make planets happy:

(1)   Wearing a gemstone: This works only for planets that are favorable in one’s horoscope. We can wear the gemstones of such planets to protect us.

(2)   Good deeds: By committing good deeds, we can pacify planets.

(3)   Planetary Propitiation: By reciting the mantras and stotras of planets, we can pacify them. Mantra is a combination of sounds with a special power to produce beneficial spiritual waves within us. Stotras are hymns in praise of planets. A mantra should be recited with an accurate pronunciation and intonation. Stotras are hymns in praise of planets and God. There is no correct intonation to read a stotra and devotion is important when reciting a stotra. Recitation of a stotra gives results very slowly. The weekday ruled by a planet is ideal for repeating its mantra

(4)   Propitiation of Deities: By propitiating various deities, we can pacify various planets.

A LIST OF COMMONLY SUGGESTED DEITIES FOR EACH PLANET

Ideally your gemstone ring or gemstone pendant should be consecrated and energized as per full Vedic rites. In case Vedic Pooja of your gemstone is not possible, it is best to chant any of the following mantras for 11 or 108 times and pray to the planetary lord before wearing your gemstone.

 Traditionally, each gemstone has a preferred finger but some astrologers suggest that the ring finger, middle finger, little finger and index finger show the four purushaarthas – dharma, artha, kama and moksha (respectively). They suggest wearing a ring on the finger representing the purushaartha of interest. One desiring marriage may wear the ring of his 7th lord on the little finger. One desiring good results in career may wear the ring of a yogakaraka in his D-10 on the middle finger and so on. Index finger represents moksha and it is usually left ringless.

In addition to the permanent relationship, we have temporary relationships based on the planetary position in a chart. These temporary (tatkaala) relationships are specific to a chart. Planets occupying the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 10th, 11th and 12th rasis counted from the rasi occupied by a planet are its temporary friends. Planet occupying other rasis are its temporary enemies. We get the compound relationships between planets by combining permanent and temporary relationships as shown below.

Meaning of Sun Navagraha Stotra Mantra:

I pray to the Sun, the day-maker, destroyer of all sins, the enemy of darkness, of great brilliance, the descendent of Kashyapa, the one who shines like the japa flower.

 SURYA SEED MANTRA:

 Appeasement of the Sun ( Sunday ) Charity :

To please Sun, one may go to a temple or donate money to a temple or help in the administration of a temple. One can also give away (as charity) the grain wheat as Sun rules wheat.

 Fasting : On Sundays.

  WHITE PEARL RULING PLANET MOON

Moon governs mind, imaginative and creative work, saline taste (e.g. sea salt, rock salt), music and melody. Moon is Primary Naisargika Karaka (natural significators of various matters ) for Mother it is also Naisargika Karakatwa for  Mind (1st); mother, peace of mind (4th); friends (11th). To please Moon, one may donate money to a music institute or help a fair lady. One can also give away (as charity) the grains rice as Moon rules rice.

 CORAL RULING PLANET MARS
